Soccer

Soccer is one of Tecumseh’s most popular programs and includes instruction for all levels from novice to expert.

The soccer staff is comprised of experienced college players and high school coaches. Present staff includes: Brad Weinberg, Hobart College; Josh Benn, Phelps School Head Coach; Drew Erikson, Gettysburg College; Woody Redpath, Wesleyan University.

Guest coaches the past five years have included Anson Dorrance, North Carolina Women’s Coach whose teams are perennial NCAA champions, Tony Williams, (Philadelphia Starfinders),  Biff Sturla (Head Coach at Harriton High in Phila.), John Talbot (former Princeton star) and Matt Naylor (Phila. Freedoms).

Grant Field, venue for soccer and football, was completely renovated in the fall of 2009 and now has an underground watering system and a new grass surface!
